Short History

Ed Praytor founded SMR in June 1985. SMR was then, and is today, a corporation registered with the Secretary of State's Office in Georgia. SMR's consultants specialize in Information Systems related issues in medium to large enterprises. Our clients include some of the most prestigious and successful organizations in the country, such as:

Our men and women roll up their sleeves and work with you and your staff at the detail level because that is what we enjoy doing.

Geography

Since we are based in Metropolitan Atlanta and fly from Hartsfield International Airport (Delta Airlines' hub), distance has made little difference over the years. While the majority of our work has been in the continental United States, our consultants have served clients from Taiwan to Belgium to Brazil. We do not see geography as a limitation, and routinely travel great distances in our consulting (and litigation) work.

We make extensive use of the Internet, as well as FAX and voice telephone, so we can often do our work without travel. This increases our accessibility and limits travel expenses.

Personnel

We leave the provision of hordes of people to our esteemed colleagues at IBM, Arthur Andersen, and EDS. Instead we provide a few key people who by their advice can influence huge outcomes. You will find that our typical consultant/coach has over 20 years of high quality experience in every aspect of the information services industry.
